BluDisc Studio - Sliding Chapter Menu

Post by Marian »

Is it possible to create Chapter Menus like you see them in these Links
For example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VUKI2V53sw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2DL694s9mQ

The pictures of the Chapter Menu are sliding to one side and the new pictures appears from the other side.
I know, sliding menus are no problem, but I can just animate one group of pictures.

Thanx

Can you give me a hint?
How is the structure of the menu I have to create in Photoshop with Scenarist Designer?

This is for me the last question if I will buy this software...

For each of the selected chapter, you must create one menu. So there will be, for example, 30 menus for 30 chapters.

Before start, you can see the source for this menu http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... 1r-nxgL0H0 here http://blu-disc.net/download/Senna.rar

Hi Ross

This is not critical, because the text will be displayed correctly in any case.

But you can open the list of fonts on the Font toolbar - missing fonts will be grayed at the end of the font list. You need to find and install them.

Hi Ross

Unfortunately, we do not have any tutorials.

There is a small list of tutorials created by other people:
https://youtu.be/nRwpKTNSlJ4
https://youtu.be/qW_DHs1nKOo
https://youtu.be/b2Ia4009vg8
http://01010101.ru/hd-blu-ray/sozdanie- ... diska.html

What method do you mean? How to create a menu like "Senna"?
If yes, so I will try to describe the main idea.
First of all, you can see a parallel animation at the opening of some menus. Check Enter animation 1 in the "Main Menu In1". Note: this is a "static" menu - a menu without buttons. It is used for animation only.
So, the First play points to the "Main Menu In1 [anim/act 1]" - this means that we enter into this menu with the "Enter animation and action 1". In the "Enter action 1" you can see a jump into the normal menu "Main Menu 1" after the animation was played.
Such method is very useful if need to jump into the menu using a variety of animations: create a static copy of the menu and set the appropriate animation and action.
The second aspect - an animation that called when you want to go into another menu. For example, the scenes menu.
On the "Press ENTER" action of the button "Scenes" you can see a slide animation, which slides just the whole menu, except a yellow rectangle to the left. After that it jumps into the menu "Scenes Pre [anm/act 1]". And here you can see another Enter animation.
So, we can use several static menus with different animations to achieve complex animations effects: "press button" -> "static menu 1 [anm/act 1]" -> "static menu 2 [anm/act 1]" -> "static menu 3 [anm/act 1]" -> "new menu".
This menu has been created in the old version of the program - there was only 1 Enter animation/action. At the moment, you can create such menus using a smaller number of static menus. There are 5 Enter animations/actions, which you can use now.
