QuickBD Menu go back to the default template for episodes

Postby roger72 » Wed Dec 14, 2011 3:03 pm

I have made a QuickBD Menu template. With 15 Chapters. If i take the template and edit with 20 or other numbers of chapters, QuickBD Menu go back to the default template for episodes. Is this normal?
Thanks for Feedback.

Hi Roger,

just can't understand what you mean. Do you need 15 or 20 chapters ? What mean "go back to the default template" ? Please attach example or screenshots or explain more detailed.

Valery.

Hi Valery,

I have also tested with your naked gun example. i have loaded the .xml in QuickBD Menu. Project have 27 Chapters. See 1.png. Go to Episodes Page 1. See 2.jpg.
Go to project and change the chapters from 27 to 20. See 3.png. The result is a Episode Page 1 with default Template. See 4.png in next Post a reply. can not upload more attachement.

I understand now, the problem that Quick BD Menu calculates automatically all navigation commands and links in menu. That mean you can change chapters number only in beginning of work. You can't change chapters number later ... However if you need to change chapters after all menu is set you can previously save buttons images and then restore all.
The main goal of Quick BD Menu is automatic menu generation. If you need detailed manual menu creation IGEditor is more suitable.

OK, thanks. I have IGEditor and make more complex menu with this. I am satisfied with everything :D
Question: Will there even be a Mac version? For BD authoring? Would certainly be good. There are only Roxio and Encore....i think both are not so good.
There dtshd for compressor, Dolby Media Encoder, and no Pro authoring program for MAC. Either i have Mac and PC, or Boot Camp or Parallels. Not so easy with Pro BD Authoring in one machine, if you want Dolby HD audio
Dtshd master suite, there are at least for Windows and MAC.

Best regards

Hi Roger,

yes, we are thinking about Mac version. But this is not possible at the moment. EasyBD Authoring Studio is very complex software and we spent about 3 years developing all these tools. However, we estimate that we need about 6-12 months on porting all our code on Mac. All depends from Blu-ray market. Now market is not so big to allow us spend additional one year on Mac version. We are ready to create Mac version if somebody or company will ready invest in Mac version. I think you understand ...
